The laboratory of EFBE Prüftechnik- Entwicklungs- und Vertriebs-GmbH, based in Waltrop, Germany, is accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 for testing in the fields of bicycles and electrically assisted bicycles. The annex to the accreditation certificate D-PL-22413-02-00 in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018 is here linked on the DAkkS website. The accreditation explicitly applies only to the specified test procedures and does not extend to other areas of activity, such as the development, construction, and distribution of test rigs and equipment, consulting, damage analysis, or other services. Manufacturer audits, training, and calibrations are not covered by the scope of accreditation. EFBE Prüftechnik- Entwicklungs- und Vertriebs-GmbH is neither an accredited certification body for management systems (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015-11), personnel (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17024:2012-11), or calibrations (DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, Section K), nor has accreditation been applied for in these areas. The EFBE Co., Ltd. testing laboratory, based in Taichung, Taiwan, operates under the same management system, using the same procedures and equipment, but is currently not accredited.
